Counting unique items in a range in Excel
Q: I can't seem to find a function for counting the number of unique entries within a column. Am I overlooking an obvious?
A: The function you need is called FREQUENCY, and you can use it to count unique entries in a column, or any Excel range. There's good coverage in the MS Knowledgebase here:
